And so, my Hollywood adventure began.In LA, I had the chance to work on many areas of the film industry, including scouting books for the boutique book-to-film agency CTL Scouting, advising FOTON Pictures on their development slate or reading scripts for Oscar-qualifying festivals like the Austin Film Festivals.But the best chapter was working as Creative Executive, International Programming at Starz, at their Santa Monica offices. I was in charge of the creative development of our local language originals for the streaming platform <strong>incluyendo<\/strong>, including shows like NACHO (Spain) and SE\u00d1ORITA 89 (Mexico).Since 2024, I work for <strong>Amazon Prime Video US<\/strong> in an external capacity as a literary content evaluation specialist, reading and assessing books and manuscripts for audiovisual adaptation.<\/p>\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/martahernani.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/IMG_3026-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_3026\" itemprop=\"image\" height=\"1080\" width=\"810\" title=\"IMG_3026\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\" class=\"no-lazyload\" \/>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/martahernani.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/DSC_8352_HD-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_8352_HD\" itemprop=\"image\" height=\"1080\" width=\"720\" title=\"DSC_8352_HD\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\" class=\"no-lazyload\" \/>\n\t\t<h2>\n\t\t\tExperiencia en Europa\n\t\t<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\u00a0Nowadays, I live in Madrid, but I still enjoy working on international projects.Most recently, I have completed <strong>CIMA IMPULSA,<\/strong> (2025-2026), a 9-month development lab in Madrid funded by Netflix and the ICAA (Spanish Ministry of Culture). I was selected for this lab with my YA female martial arts TV series &#8220;Lecciones de Lucha&#8221;, which is currently in development.\u00a0\u00a0Additionally, I have been working as script consultant for a book-to-series adaptation developed by <strong>Mediapro<\/strong> for <strong>Amazon Prime Video<\/strong> Spain, which will enter production during summer 2026.Other recent projects include &#8220;Manual para Aprendices de Tinder&#8221;, a short play I wrote and directed, which premiered in Microteatro por Dinero in September 2025.
