Hollywood Experience
In 2021, I moved to Los Angeles to pursue a masters degree from USC. Afterwards, I went on to work at Starz in Santa Monica as Creative Executive, International Programming. There, I was in charge of the development and production of local language originals for the streaming platform LIONSGATE+, including NACHO, SEÑORITA 89 and YELLOW.
During the years I lived in LA, I also worked as script advisor for the independent studio FOTON PICTURES and scouted books for CTL SCOUTING. I also evaluated scripts for a number of Oscar-qualifying festivals, like the Austin Film Festival.
Since 2024, I work for Amazon Prime Video US in an external capacity as a literary content evaluation specialist.
I'm paid to read books while also working on my own material, and I love it!
European Experience
At present, I have my base in Madrid, but I still enjoy working in international projects!
In the fall of 2024, I spent 3 months in Lille, France, as part of the TV-writing lab Eureka Series, by Series Mania. Together with 12 European screenwriters, we were selected to develop original TV concepts during the lab and pitch them at the festival.
In 2025, my female martial arts YA show was picked for CIMA IMPULSA, a 9-month development lab in Madrid funded by Netflix and the ICAA (Spanish Ministry of Culture). This will be presented in front of the industry in April 2026.
Also in 2025, I premiered my first short play, MANUAL FOR TINDER BEGINNERS, at Microteatro por Dinero, the oldest and most prestigious venue for short plays in Spain. This is a coming-of-age comedy I wrote and directed about a nerdy teen and her medieval spiritual counsellor.
In 2026, I'm working on book-to-series adaptations for various Spanish production companies, as well as developing my own material.
If interested in any of these concepts, please request materials (most are available in English and Spanish!)
